Tank Cleaning in Europe

Tank Cleaning in Europe
Internal tank cleaning is a substantial factor not only in the cost calculation of the logistics service provider, but a crucial quality criterion. Legal restraints of the authorities cause ever stronger restrictions of the product range, which can be accepted for cleaning at the stations. All the more important it is to know what can be cleaned where already during route planning.

In table form a total of more than 600 cleaning stations in 28 European countries are listed, where tank trucks and tank containers, silos, rail tank cars and IBCs can be cleaned, dried and repaired. Country maps help finding the nearest installation. Color codes differentiate between cleaning stations for dangerous goods and harmless goods such as plastic granulates or foodstuff.

Apart from the address with telephone number, Internet and email address as well as contacts each entry informs among other things about a SQAS assessment, opening times, waiting periods, not accepted products, issued cleaning documents and service offerings. The Eftco European Cleaning Document (ECD) with the cleaning codes is described in detail.
